Spiritual Analysis of Year 2014
Yes, you have heard it right; we are going to do the spiritual analysis of year 2014. There have been analyses on various topics — astrological analysis, political or electoral analysis, financial analysis and weather analysis. Each of these analyses has its own intellectual basis. In that case, what is the basis for spiritual analysis? The most common answer is that spiritual perspective is the basis of this analysis. Mahatma Kabir says — 'Tu kehta kaagad ki lekhi, mein kehta aankhin ki dekhi' (meaning: You say what is written on paper and I say what I see in reality). Param Pujya Gurudev was a unique personality who was a blend of ancient rishis, acharyas and saints. His thoughts and words are the best basis for a spiritual significance of the year 2014.
The Glorious Spring Spent with Param Pujya Gurudev
The Vasant Parva of 2014 is very significant for a variety of reasons. Param Pujya Gurudev went into solitude after his final interaction with the Gayatri Parivar Parijans on the Vasant Parva of 1990. He had begun to mention this from September 1989 itself. The ensuing months witnessed strange transformations in his body — at times glowing with immense spiritual radiance, at other times appearing quite normal, sometimes his body would become stiff and become normal later.
Once, when a disciple asked him — 'Gurudev, what is happening with your body?' he replied: 'Son, I am doing some special spiritual sadhana. I am slowly separating my consciousness from this body. I will merely have a puppet string attached to this and nothing more. One fine day, I shall cut that string too.' He further explained: 'If I leave this body without doing this sadhana, then the process of light leaving the body can sometimes take a few days, weeks or even months. This happened with Maharshi Aurobindo. His body was radiant for 3 days after he left his body. That is the reason why I am completing this process so that there is no unnecessary discussion later on.'
On being asked what kind of sadhana this was, he replied: 'This time around, the complete sadhana is not being done by physical body but with the subtle body. I will start this sadhana from the Vasant Parva of 1990. This sadhana will also be for 24 years. During these 24 years, the old structure will be smashed and the foundation stone for the new creation will be laid.'
24 Years of Pujya Gurudev's Sookshma Sadhana
If you look at the span from Vasant Parva of 1990 to 2014, you will notice that 24 years have been completed. He had clearly told that a new direction will be set after these 24 years. These 24 years were a span which saw a lot of chaos and destruction from various visible and subtle worlds. In the physical world, people and nature became the medium, while in the subtle invisible world many negative forces played the role in destruction.
We have seen the fury of Mother Nature in the last 24 years and seen how the world was in disarray owing to several natural disasters. Param Pujya Gurudev's sadhana till now was to ensure that all these happenings do not go out of control and that the end results remain positive. There will be a turn of events starting from this Vasant Parva. He left his mortal body on the Gayatri Jayanti of 1990 (2nd June 1990). The Gayatri Jayanti of 2014 will mark the 24 years of Gurudev moving out of his mortal sheath.
The Envelope of Darkness is All Set to Dissolve
The layer of darkness that was enveloping the entire surface of the Earth is all set to melt away. This will not be accomplished in a day or a year — it might take 2–3 years. Hence, there will be negative incidents and natural calamities, but their intensity will be less and they can be controlled. Param Pujya Gurudev introduced Saur Shakti Prayog and Surya Sadhana to break the envelope of darkness. According to Gurudev, the next three years — 2014, 2015 and 2016 — will be difficult, but they are giving the message of 'Tamaso maa Jyotirgamaya' — we are moving from darkness to light, and this definitely is a happy message.
When Param Pujya Gurudev discussed about this, he referred to Yoga Antaraya as described by Maharshi Patanjali in his Yogashastra. During this antaraya, the penance of the sadhak is disrupted. Planet Earth went through a similar phase during the last 24 years. The great penance of Mahakal alone was responsible in keeping the situation under control. All-destroying natural calamities struck, but could only do damage that could be managed. There have been threats of world war on various instances, but none could actually take the form of a world war.
A New Phase Begins Starting with this Vasant Parva
Starting from this Vasant Panchami, a new phase of Param Pujya Gurudev's sadhana has commenced because of which not only will the envelope of darkness go away from the plane of Earth, but will also mark the end of all dark activities. As a result, the negative forces will not only come under control but their departure from the plane of Earth will also commence. This process will spread in the entire world with India as its epicenter.
The Time of Destruction is Over and the Era of Creation has Begun
Param Pujya Gurudev explained this truth in his own words: 'Whenever a new building has to be constructed, laborers are first called in to break the old structure. These laborers are naturally rough and uncouth in nature. They merely know how to use the hammer and break things. When all their breaking work is over, the role of finer craftsmen begins.'
Vasant Parva of 2014 marks the end of the destruction portion of the work. The task of going forward that is to be accomplished will be taken up by those who are from the divine planes of illumination — done by Rishi Mandal and Dev Mandal, controlled by none other than Mahakal himself. Pure and refined souls will act as mediums for these divine souls from the realms of illumination.
This Vasant is Truly Unique and Extraordinary
The transformation will be gradual and slow. But this will be clearly visible by Vasant Parva of 2026 — the Sadhana Shatabdi of Param Pujya Gurudev. The seeds of era transformation sowed by Pujya Gurudev will ripen as harvest by then. But those seeds have sprouted on this Vasant Parva of 2014. The message of ushering the new era is clearly embedded during this year. We should all take charge of our duties and responsibilities in order to listen to this clarion call.
